Education in Manhasset

A nationally accredited and acclaimed school district, Manhasset has two elementary schools (K-6), a middle school (7-8) and one high school (9-12). In addition to academic studies, the schools feature comprehensive athletic programs, a unique independent research course, networked computer labs, English as a second language and a number of enrichment and remedial programs. State-of-the-art technology that supports multi-media, networked and on-line capabilities guides interdisciplinary student research and investigations. There are also several choices of private schools with-in a 15-mile radius of Manhasset and is supported by the District's transportation office.
